SIMS Sports Final matches held at Punjab Stadium, Lahore The final matches of sports competitions in Services Institute of Medical Sciences were held at Punjab Stadium Lahore with the participation of The Principal SIMS Professor Dr. Muhammad Farooq Afzal as a special guest. Sports President Professor Shoaib welcomed the Principal with a bouquet of flowers. Dr. Zaid Ahmed, Prof. Tayyaba Wasim, Prof. Farid Khan, Prof. Khalid Waheed, Prof. Khadija, Prof. Tahrim participated in sports competitions, SIMS faculty and students participated in various sports. On this occasion of supervising all the competitions, the chief guest distributed trophies and medals to the winning players and in his address, Principal Sims Prof. Farooq Afzal presented a tribute to Prof. Faisal Masood (late) X Principal Sims and said, “Great man.” He believes in team work and added that play is very important for a healthy mind.
