The 170th Meeting of the Dengue Expert Advisory Group (DEAG) Punjab, held on 19th July 2025, convened in the DEAG Meeting Room at Services Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS), Lahore, under the chairmanship of Prof. Muhammad Khurram, Chairperson DEAG and Prof. Zohra Khanum, Principal SIMS / Co-Chairperson DEAG.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Secretary (Technical), SHC&ME Department, representatives from the Punjab Healthcare Commission, Health & Population Department, Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), and other esteemed DEAG members—both in-person and online.

The following agenda items were discussed:

1. Welcome & Introduction of the Newly Constituted and Revised DEAG Group Members

2. Presentation on the Current Dengue Situation in Punjab by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) / Institute of Public Health (IPH) and Prof. Waseem Akram

3. Future Planning by the Newly Constituted and Revised DEAG Group

4. Formation of Dengue Mortality Review Committee
