Advisor to chief minister Punjab in Health, Honorable Maj. Gen. (R) Azhar Mahmood Kiani visited Services Institute of Medical Sciences / Services hospital , Lahore .

A meeting was held in the Academic Council Hall of Services Institute of Medical Sciences, LHR . The meeting was attended by Principal SIMS / Services Hospital, LHR , Heads of Departments, Medical Superintendent of Services Hospital Lahore, Director Finance, and Nursing Superintendent , Nursing Principal.

Meeting was commenced with recitation of holy Quran followed by National Anthem . On behalf of Academic council, administration, staff & students, Professor Zohra Khanum welcomed the honorable guest .

Professor Zohra Khanum, Principal, Services Institute of Medical Sciences / Services Hospital LHR introduced the academic council. Detailed introductory presentation of Services Institute of Medical Sciences & Services hospital was done along with statistics, services in campus & out campus. Year progress report Jan. 2024 – Dec. 2024 was presented highlighting the excellent contribution by the faculty, Staff, students & nurses.

Major General Azhar Mahmood Kiani (R), briefed the participants regarding Chief Minister’s vision of upgrading the health sector.

During his visit, Major General Azhar Mahmood Kiani (R), inaugurated the Hospital Committee Room.

He also visited various departments, including the SIMS Diagnostic Centre (SDC), Surgical Emergency, Blood Bank, Anti-Rape Crisis Cell, and the Dialysis Centre.

The meeting / round concluded with a vote of thanks, and a souvenir was presented to Major General (R) Azhar Mahmood Kiani sahib.
