Urology department is the busiest department of the hospital and is a center of excellence for treatment of peoples from all over the Punjab. Past few years have witnessed a tremendous increase in workload but Urology department is working 24/7 days in a week and only teaching ward which OPD clinics 4 days a week in Punjab, 03 operation lists and 24/7 emergency cover.

Department receives more than 3000 patients per month in OPD, perform more than 100 major surgeries per month and deal all of this with scarcity of resources.

The department also provides clinical teaching/training to the undergraduates and postgraduate students.

The department has maintained commitment to research and training. Continued efforts in clinical and laboratory research are reflected in an outstanding record of publications, grant support, and presentations at regional meetings.
