First workshop to train the master trainers was conducted on 2nd August 2025 at Services Institute of Medical Sciences / Services Hospital Lahore, under the patronage of Professor Zohra Khanum, Principal SIMS / Services Hospital Lahore, and under the supervision of Prof. Ahsan Nasim, Incharge Undergraduate Skills Lab.

The purpose of this workshop was to introduce faculty members from different specialties to the mannequins available in the Undergraduate Skills Lab, including those for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) for adults and pediatrics, as well as mannequins used in General Surgery, Gynecology, and Pediatrics.

The objective of the session was to train the faculty of SIMS as master trainers from various specialties — including General Surgery, Gynecology, Anesthesia, Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, and other core disciplines.

The training session is part of the upcoming mandatory undergraduate workshops planned by the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore.
