The Neonatology Group of Unit One, Services Hospital, successfully conducted a two-day national-level symposium on February 12-13 under the Patronage of Principal SIMS Professor Zohra Khanum. The event focused on mechanical ventilation in newborns, featuring expert speakers from across Pakistan, including Sindh, KPK, and Baluchistan.
Day 1: Non-Invasive Ventilation Training
The first day of the symposium comprised training sessions on non-invasive ventilation, equipping participants with hands-on experience.
Day 2: Invasive Ventilation and Nursing Care
The second day delved into invasive ventilation, highlighting best practices for ventilator use and nursing care in neonates. Comprehensive lectures and interactive sessions ensured participants gained in-depth knowledge.
The symposium also featured an exhibition of cutting-edge equipment, including high-flow devices and ventilators, allowing participants to explore and gain practical experience.
With approximately 300 participants, the symposium witnessed overwhelming success. Renowned speakers and delegates from across Pakistan contributed to the event’s triumph, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and expertise.
