On 27th Sept 2025 a one day workshop on “INTERPRETATION OF PAEDATRIC ECG ” was held by Paediatrics Department UNIT-1 at Muhammad Ali Auditorium, under the patronage of Prof. Zohra Khanum Principal Services Institute of Medical Sciences / Services Hospital Lahore and under the Leadershio of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rafique HOD Paediatrics.

Facilitator was Prof. Dr. Asif-ur-Rehman HOD Paediatrics Cardiology PIC.

A large number of participants from Pediatric Departments of SIMS ‘ LGH and Mayo Hospital including faculty and Residents were attendees. Post workshop written feedback was collected and found that it was very useful academic activity. After interactive lecture case scenarios and hands on practice were the contents of the workshop. Basic objective was to make the professionals skillful in identification of ECG abnormalities and to diagnose cardiac issues with ECG.

Prof. Rafique HOD pediatrics welcome the facilitator and attendees and enlightened the participants regarding importance of the workshop and its objectives.

Participants gained related knowledge and skill. They appreciated the workshop organizers and facilitator.

Another additional element was to announce and appreciate and give award to Resident of the Month, Dr. Armeen.
