INTRODUCTION of DEPARTMENT:

The Nephrology and Hemodialysis department of Services Hospital, Lahore is one of the largest department of Nephrology in Lahore/Punjab. The department is currently providing in patient as well as outpatient services to the patients of kidney diseases. Our state of the art Hemodialysis Unit is working round the clock providing services to the patient of renal failure. Currently, the department is actively involved in shaping the future of nephrology through its FCPS Nephrology and MD Nephrology training programs. Looking ahead, there are plans to initiate a training program specifically tailored for dialysis technicians, contributing to the overall enhancement of renal care services

The department is well-equipped with an essential infrastructure. 18 indoor beds provide a conducive environment for inpatient care, while the advanced haemodialysis center features 39 haemodialysis machines, providing dialysis to almost 30,000 patients annually.

Beyond its core responsibilities, the Nephrology Department plays a crucial role in the collaborative healthcare landscape. It provides diagnostic and therapeutic support to all hospital departments dealing with kidney-related cases including medical and surgical ICUs and emergencies, fostering a multidisciplinary approach for comprehensive patient care.
