Introduction of Department.

In the realm of healthcare, our surgical unit 4 at SIMS serves as a beacon of compassion and dedicated service,
with a mission that transcends boundaries to deliver quality medical care to the underserved within our
community. As an essential arm of a public sector hospital, our commitment is rooted in providing equal care
to all, especially the economically disadvantaged. Understanding the challenges faced by individuals in
vulnerable situations, our dedicated team works tirelessly to break down barriers, ensuring that every patient
receives the best possible care, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Teaching and Training Excellence:
Central to our commitment is a focus on education and training in surgical care. Our Surgical Unit at SIMS is
not only dedicated to providing outstanding medical services but also to cultivating the next generation of
surgical professionals. We take pride in our comprehensive teaching programs, where experienced surgeons
mentor and guide aspiring medical professionals in the art and science of surgery. Through hands-on training,
workshops, and educational initiatives, we aim to foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence in
surgical practice.
INMOL Hospital Referral Program:
In collaboration with Inmol Hospital, we have initiated a referral program that extends a lifeline to cancer
patients who have undergone chemotherapy. This partnership ensures a seamless transition of care, allowing
us to continue the journey of support and treatment for those battling cancer.
Surgical Oncology and Advanced Laparoscopic Procedures:
Our expertise is distinctive, with a specialized focus on two critical areas—oncological surgeries and advanced
laparoscopic procedures. In the realm of breast surgeries, we offer not just medical expertise but a holistic
approach, providing emotional support to individuals navigating through sensitive medical situations.

Simultaneously, our proficiency in advanced laparoscopic surgeries underscores our commitment to cutting-
edge techniques that enhance recovery and minimize postoperative discomfort.

Vision for Impactful Care:
Our vision is to be a pioneering force in surgical healthcare, where excellence in medical care converges with
cutting-edge teaching and training programs. We aspire to cultivate a dynamic learning environment,
empowering the next generation of surgical professionals through mentorship and hands-on experience.
Simultaneously, our commitment extends to the broader community, aiming to enhance surgical awareness
and accessibility for all. By seamlessly integrating superior patient care, innovative education, and community
engagement, we strive to set new benchmarks in surgical excellence, making a lasting and positive impact on
the well-being of our patients and the future of healthcare.
